Job DescriptionJob SummaryPerforms diverse employment duties in connection with the activities of the Human Resources Department COMPANY DESCRIPTIONFrye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers.Essential Functions

• Maintain I-9 and Immigration Records. Monitor yearly for I-9 governmental updates for changes to our procedure as appropriate
• Administers the Employee Identification Badge System for new hires.
• Administers the record management & scanning of the HR file.
• General Human Resource Department responsibilities.
• Completes backgrounds for all volunteers and chaplains.
• Pre-Employment Screenings including accurate completion of new hire paperwork. Submission and screening of criminal background checks.
• Act as secondary back up to prepping vacancy report.
• Onboard new employees

Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
