Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Stepdown Neuro Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1-2 years License: Current RN License Certifications: Required certifications not specified Must-Have: Experience in Neuro Progressive Care Unit Job Description: - Work in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit, focusing on neuro medical strokes, neuro-ortho surgeries, and overflow telemetry and medical patients. - Provide care for adult and geriatric patients in a facility with a comprehensive range of specialized services. - Collaborate with teams from various specialized centers including brain, heart, lung, orthopedics, and women's health. - Participate in the care of stable post-stroke and neuro-surgery patients, telemetry patients, and other medical patients. - Utilize Cerner Electronic Health Records (EHR) system. - Maintain professional attire with acceptable scrub colors, ensuring a professional appearance at all times. - Work closely with supervisors and members of the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care. - No call requirements. - Ability to float as needed within medical, telemetry, and neonatal units. - Engage in bi-weekly orientation sessions for continuous learning and adaptation.
